HSE Management System Overview
The strength of PTAS Group’s commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) is determined by the conviction of its management and the execution of its HSE system by all of its employees.

We are determined to be a leader in HSE performance in our industry segments.

PTAS Group commitment to health, safety and the environment is at both on a Company and personal level.

A commitment to HSE is expected of all employees but it begins with top management.

The Company's ultimate goal is to eliminate all injuries, occupational illnesses, and environmental incidents from the work place; and continually improve the quality of our products and services.

Policies include statements of HSE goals and objectives while procedures define the requirements and minimum acceptable criteria.

Executive Management sets the Company’s HSE policies, standards and objectives, and communicates these to the work force.

Organizational structure, roles and responsibilities are defined, and necessary resources are provided, to achieve corporate HSE objectives set by the Managing Director.

Each employee is individually responsible for working safely, in an environmentally responsible manner and helping to ensure that fellow employees and contractors do the same.

Risk assessment and risk management are pro-active approaches to our HSE issues.

Rather than focusing on incident statistics,

PTAS Group focuses primarily on the identification of hazards, the assessment of risks and the control of those risks for incident prevention.

PTAS Group takes responsibility and ensures that third parties meet the standards of excellence that PTAS Group and our customers require.

We are judged not only on the performance of our employees but also on the overall performance of our contractors and suppliers.

PTAS Group has must establish effective business processes that satisfy customers, meet social and community expectations and maximize efficiency while minimizing loss and delivering value to stakeholders.

Both Executive Management and Senior Management expect all operations to be conducted in a manner that eliminates or minimizes HSE risk.

PTAS Group continually endeavors to monitor and measure business processes to verify that customer, legal and other requirements are met.

By maintaining detailed, accurate records PTAS Group will target, measure and report on operations in order to benchmark our performance and ensure that PTAS Group is always improving.

HSE Management System Audits and Management Reviews are regularly conducted to assess the ongoing suitability and effectiveness of the HSE Management System itself.

Improvement action plans are developed as a result of these audits and reviews to ensure continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
